Medicaid Fee for Services

Medicaid reimbursement is a source of federal funds approved by Congress to help school districts maintain and improve special education services. If Medicaid eligible, therapy and diagnostic services provided to children are partially reimbursable. Unless the parent/guardian objects in writing, the Batavia School District will claim Medicaid reimbursement for services provided. These claims will have no impact on the family’s ability to receive Medicaid funding either now or in the future. If you do not wish this release of  information related to Medicaid claims for your child, please contact the Student Services Office at (630) 937-8836.
