Financial Assistance

At Batavia Public School District 101, three types of financial assistance are available:

1. Free & Reduced Meals

Free & reduced breakfast and lunch meals are available to households who qualify.

Paper applications are also available at each school. Applications and corresponding documentation should be returned to the Rosalie M. Jones Administration Center at 335 W. Wilson St., Batavia.

2. Waiver of School Fees

Students will not be denied educational service or academic credit due to the inability of parents/guardians to pay fees. Parents/guardians unable to afford school fees may apply for a Waiver of School Fees.

Waiver applications must be submitted on a household basis. A child who is “directly certified” (receiving SNAP/Food Stamps or TANF) or is “categorically eligible” (homeless, migrant, or runaway) automatically qualifies for a school fee waiver.

Paper applications are also available at each school. Applications and corresponding documentation should be returned to the Rosalie M. Jones Administration Center at 335 W. Wilson St., Batavia.

3. Payment Plan

The District offers a payment plan to assist families that cannot afford to pay fees upfront.  The option to create a payment plan is available when paying an outstanding balance of at least $100 in PowerSchool.
