Historic Finish for Girls Track and Field Team

Congrats to Batavia High School 4×100 relay team members Symone Houston-Davis, Tori Ortiz, Sabrina Schlenker, and Davinia Wilson, who finished seventh in the 2018 IHSA state competition at Eastern Illinois University (4 x 100 alternates: Anna Knutson, Joycelyn Young, Amy Bleakley, and Mackenzie Benkers). It’s the first time in the history of the BHS Girls Track and Field program that the 4 x100 relay has placed at the state level!
Congrats also to Sabrina Schlenker for placing seventh in state for the 300 hurdles.
