The BPS101 staff is here to help and support students in academic, social, and emotional learning.  There are times when the support we provide may need to extend outside our building.  There are many resources within our community for students and parents to access additional support on a variety of topics.  Our list below is in no way comprehensive but may provide a starting place for students in need of additional help.

The best solution may be just a phone call away! Thanks to the Batavia United Way, we now have 2-1-1 in Kane County. Here is more info on 2-1-1: https://bataviaunitedway.org/211-2/

Multiple community groups came together to produce this Batavia Counselors’ Collaboration Resource Guide with mental health tips, information, and resources for families. Here is their website, a YouTube playlist of resources, and their Facebook page.

We always encourage families to check with their insurance and primary care physicians to be sure that the services are appropriate and covered.  In some cases, agencies in the area will provide services based on income at little to no cost to the family.
