STEM School

BPS101 offers a unique learning opportunity for third- through eighth-grade students at the John C. Dunham STEM Partnership School.

The STEM School is part of the Aurora University campus and specializes in science, technology, engineering, and math. It serves third- through eighth-grade students from the Indian Prairie 204, East Aurora 131, West Aurora 129, and Batavia 101 school districts.

This opportunity is for students with an interest in science, technology, engineering, and math. It is not solely for gifted students—any student with a passion for these subjects is encouraged to apply. Enrollment is limited to 50 students from each of the four participating school districts.

Student Selection Process for the John C Dunham STEM Partnership School

February 27: Parent Informational Meeting for 3rd grade

   Location: John C. Dunham STEM Partnership School

   Time: 6-6:45 pm: STEM Presentation/District

              7-7:30 pm: Building Open House

February 28:  Parent information and online forms uploaded to the website

March 10:       Deadline for parents to submit the online form to the district

March 23:       Lotteries held in all districts

April 6:           Parents notified if a child is selected OR if their child is on the waitlist

April:              Every Tuesday in April at 10:00 a.m.- Parents can tour STEM Partnership School

May 5th:         Deadline to Commit
