Partners in Achievement
At Batavia Public School District 101, we are committed to the success of your student, and we know that family involvement in the learning process is crucial for them to achieve to their highest potential. Research shows the positive benefits when parents take an active interest in their child’s education.
There are a variety of ways to get involved in your child’s education, and we want to help parents connect with the District in impactful ways. For this reason, we have created a new communication feature titled “Partners in Achievement.”
When you see the “Partners in Achievement” phrase in a message from the District, your school, or your child’s teacher, we are highlighting an opportunity for you to learn about or get involved in an aspect of our District related to achievement. Our mission, “Always Learning. Always Growing.” applies to not only the students and staff, but it also applies to you.
We hope that you take the time to read, attend programs, and use the resources below that we are highlighting:
- Interpreting MAP Scores: helps parents become more familiar with MAP testing and their child’s MAP results.
- Getting the Most Out of PowerSchool: FAQs to help you fully understand all of this powerful tool’s features designed to track your child’s academic progress.
- Parent Guide to MTSS
- PARCC Testing: A Parent’s guide to the Partnership for Assessment of Readiness for College and Careers (PARCC) assessment.
- Summer Learning Challenge: With online resources, the Batavia Public Library, and family support, your child can continue to learn and maintain the gains made during the school year so he or she is ready to succeed when school opens again in the fall.
