Hello BPS101 Families-
Registration and Locker Move-In day have BHS and RMS alive with the sound of student footprints again. It must mean that school is about to start. Can you believe it is one week from today for K-12 students? Our “Bitty Bulldogs” in the EC start on Monday, August 21st.
We have decided to continue our District Weekly Messengers for the 2023-24 school year. Besides a few off-date messengers, we will send Messengers Wednesdays around 4:00 PM. All Messengers will be posted to our News Wall. From there, you can translate the messages into 125+ languages.
Chromebook Care (NEW)
Have students charge and turn on their Chromebooks to ensure they are in good working order. Check out our tech tips. If you have questions after reviewing tech tips, submit a Request for Tech Assistance via the PowerSchool parent portal.
Fee Waiver and Household Eligibility Applications (Free and Reduced Lunch) Now Available! (NEW)
You can now apply online for Fee Waivers and Free & Reduced Lunch. We will continue to have hard copies available at each building for those families who prefer to pick them up and submit a copy in person. If you wish to submit a hard copy, please return it to the Rosalie M. Jones Administration Center to be processed.

Student Registration Is Now Open (Reminder)
The parent portal in PowerSchool is now available to complete student registration, pay fees, and view student schedules.
Once registration is complete, fees are paid, or a payment plan is established, the student’s schedule will be available. Financial assistance is available to families who qualify. Reminder: We recommend that parents and students “be internet smart” and refrain from posting personal information online, including school schedules.
Student Bus Routes (Reminder)
Some bus routes may not yet be available in PowerSchool. All route assignments are subject to change, so please check the night before school starts for any last-minute updates.
Early Childhood and Developmental Screenings (Reminder)
The Early Childhood Center at Alice Gustafson Elementary School will host Early Childhood and Developmental Screenings on August 17 & 18. For more info, please visit our Early Childhood website.
For details on upcoming open houses and back-to-school events, check the events calendar on your school pages and look for messages from your principals. The District will use Messengers, the website, social media, and school newsletters to share information throughout the 2023-24 School Year. Stay tuned!
