BHS Volleyball Team Earns AVCA's All Academic All American Award—21st Year in a Row!
The 2017 Batavia High School Varsity Volleyball Team has been awarded the American Volleyball Coaches Association’s All Academic All American Award for the 2017-18 school year.
The award, which was initiated in the 1992-93 academic year, honors collegiate and high school volleyball teams that displayed excellence in the classroom during the school year by maintaining at least a 3.30 cumulative team grade-point average on a 4.0 scale
“Our 2017 team earned a cumulative GPA of 3.928,” said BHS Varsity Volleyball Coach and PE Teacher Lori Trippi-Payne. “We were also notified by the AVCA that we have won this award 24 times and currently have a 21-year streak!”
