Meal Box Service During COVID-19 School Closure

Our District is committed to providing families key resources during the extended school closure due to COVID-19.  Accordingly, we will continue to provide breakfast and lunch at no cost to all students who regularly receive free or reduced meals at school.

Meal Box Details

Breakfast: yogurt cup, granola bar, string cheese, piece of whole fruit, milk or juice

Lunch: main entree sandwich, piece of whole fruit, packaged fresh vegetable, snack (Rice Krispie bar), milk or juice

Dinner (weekends only and subject to change based on availability): Various canned goods, rice, pasta, bread, fruit, and snacks

Meal Box Service Dates

Meal service dates are:

  • Mondays (2 breakfasts, 2 lunches)
  • Wednesdays (2 breakfasts, 2 lunches)
  • Fridays (3 breakfasts, 3 lunches, and 2 dinners)

Placing Orders

Important! Orders must be placed for each service date.

Interested families may fill out an order form by 3:00 PM the day before the service date.  For example, to receive a meal box on Monday, March 30, the form must be completed by 3:00 PM on Sunday, March 29.

Pick-up

All meals will be available for pick-up at the athletic entrance of Batavia High School (1201 Main St, Batavia) between 11:00 AM and 1:00 PM on the service date.  Look for the tent by the athletic entrance. A staff member will approach your car; please stay in your vehicle.

Delivery

If your family does not have access to transportation, please indicate that on the order form.  Our capacity to deliver meals is limited and is not offered for convenience; we will do our best to have the meal delivered to your home.
