Board of Education Meetings

Unless otherwise posted, Board of Education meetings are held at:

Board meetings are the sole venue through which the Board conducts official District business. They provide opportunities for transparent governance, collaborative discussion among Board members, and public input.

Public Comment

Community members are welcome to address the Board during the Public Comment portion of each meeting.

Guidelines for Participation

  • Submit the Public Comment Form to Recording Secretary Cindy Rodriguez prior to the start of the meeting. The form requires your full name, as mandated by state law for official minutes.

  • Speak only when recognized by the Board President during the designated agenda item.

  • Time Limits:

    • Total Public Comment Time:  45 minutes
    • Individual speakers: 3 minutes

Time Management Protocols

When necessary, the Board may:

  • Shorten individual comment times to allow broader participation

  • Limit total public comment time to at least 30 minutes initially, with additional time available after other agenda items

  • Make procedural determinations not otherwise covered in Board policy

Conduct Expectations

Speakers must remain respectful and civil. All participants must follow Board Policy 8:030 – Visitors to and Conduct on School Property.
