Hello BPS101 Families-
Just a quick Messenger with details on PowerSchool, school lunch prices, free and reduced meal applications, and Early Childhood screening services. We will continue with weekly Messengers on Wednesdays throughout the school year. All BPS101 messengers can also be found and translated into over 125 languages on our News Wall.
PowerSchool
Annually, all parents or guardians must register each student for the upcoming school year. Registration aims to ensure that critical information is up-to-date, including emergency contact information, parent permissions, and parental notices.
The parent portal in PowerSchool is scheduled to open on August 1. Once registration is complete, fees are paid, or a payment plan is established, the student’s schedule will be available. A messenger will be sent by the District on August 1st with more details.
School Lunch Prices
At the May 24th Board of Education meeting, a 10-cent increase in meal prices was approved. Pricing for school meals for the 22-23 school year is as follows:
Breakfast K-8: $1.50
Breakfast 9-12: $1.70
Lunch K-8: $3.25
Lunch 9-12: $3.45

Fee Waiver and Household Eligibility Applications (Free & Reduced Lunch) Now Available!
You can now apply online for Fee Waivers and Free & Reduced Lunch. We will continue to have hard copies available at each building for those families who prefer to pick them up and submit a copy in person. If you wish to submit a hard copy, please return it to the Rosalie M. Jones Administration Center to be processed.

Early Childhood and Developmental Screenings are Now available!
The Early Childhood Center at Alice Gustafson Elementary School will be hosting Early Childhood and Developmental Screenings on August 19th. For more info, please visit our Early Childhood website.
