Dear BPS101 Families-
Can you believe we have surpassed 100 days of school? Last Wednesday, February 3rd, marked the 100th day of school. Check out how Miss Ciway from H.C. Storm School celebrated with her class!
Last week we shared some resources that are available to address challenges you or your family may be dealing with because of life changes during the pandemic. One of them was to help keep families engaged in extracurricular activities. There are many clubs and activities that are currently meeting and practicing. Elementary families can find great opportunities to connect through the weekly newsletters. The LRC page also offers great opportunities, including the current Battle of the Books! PTO organizations are offering many virtual programs that can be fun for all members of the family. And don’t forget to check Backpack Mail for local events and programs for adults and students.
Kindergarten for 2021-22 School Year (NEW)
District families that have a child that turns 5 by September 1, 2021, have an opportunity to start the registration process and ask questions of District administrators on one of two scheduled dates. Additional information HERE.
Calling All Artists: Flag Drawings Needed!
The Kane County Board is seeking American Flag Drawing submissions to be displayed during the Kane County Board Meetings. Check out THIS flyer for all the details.
