Hall of Honor Committee Seeking Nominations
Nominations for the BPS101 Hall of Honor are now being accepted, and the deadline for submitting a nomination is Feb. 1, 2024.
The BPS101 Hall of Honor awards program, created by Batavia Public School District 101 and the Batavia Foundation for Educational Excellence, is designed to honor accomplishments made by Batavia High School graduates, BPS101 staff members, and community members who have demonstrated excellence in their field and/or commitment to BPS101.
Honorees will be inducted into the BPS101 Hall of Honor in the fall of 2024, at the Batavia Fine Arts Centre. A permanent display of the 2024 inductees will be showcased in the main hall at Batavia High School.
To qualify for consideration for induction into the BPS101 Hall of Honor, candidates must be nominated and fulfill the criteria in one of the following categories:
Graduates – individuals who graduated from Batavia High School, and who have demonstrated excellence in their field or endeavor and/or outstanding service to District 101-out of school for at least 15 years
Employees of District 101 – Individuals who have demonstrated outstanding service to District 101 – worked for District 101 for at least 15 years.
Friends of District 101—individuals who have demonstrated outstanding, meritorious service to District 101
