Bulldog Stadium Scoreboard Update

Bulldog Stadium Scoreboard Going Up

A new scoreboard is being installed at Bulldog Stadium, just in time for the upcoming sports season. The project is made possible entirely through a donation from the Batavia Bulldog Boosters, who funded both the purchase and installation.

The scoreboard represents a $250,000 investment, which the Boosters will fund over the next five years. This significant commitment ensures student-athletes and fans will enjoy an upgraded game-day experience, all without the use of taxpayer dollars or district operating funds.

The Batavia Bulldog Boosters Organization, a volunteer-run nonprofit organization, works year-round to support Batavia athletics at all BPS101 schools through fundraising and community partnerships.

“We’re proud to support this project as part of our mission to enhance the athletic experience for Batavia students and the broader community,” said Mike Morman, President of the Batavia Athletic Boosters. “The new scoreboard is a visible symbol of what we can accomplish together when we rally around our kids.”

“This is an incredibly generous gift that directly benefits our student-athletes, coaches, and fans,” said Dave Andrews, Batavia High School Athletic Director. “We’re thankful for the Boosters’ partnership and commitment to making our programs the best they can be.”

District 101 is committed to transparency and responsible stewardship of public funds. We are proud to partner with community organizations like the Batavia Athletic Boosters, whose contributions help ensure a high-quality student experience while protecting our general operating budget.

The installation of the new scoreboard is scheduled to be completed before the start of the fall sports season.
