Celebration: BFEE Grants
The Batavia Foundation for Educational Excellence funded eight teacher grants this spring, and officially awarded the grants to teachers at the May 1, 2018, Board Meeting. Grants were awarded based on a number of factors, including uniqueness, impact on the teaching/learning environment, number of students impacted, and alignment with BPS101 goals and priorities. BFEE also allocated $9,186 for the District Innovation Grant and $1,837 for ongoing projects. Read more >
Action: PA Intercom System Upgrade
Board Members approved the purchase of a telephone/PA system integration solution to provide more efficient communications in the event of an emergency.
Action: Renewal of Insurance Benefit Plans
The Board approved FY19 insurance contracts and adjustments as presented, but requested more involvement with the Insurance Committee to work to contain insurance costs.
Action: Fiscal Year Computer Purchases
The Board approved FY19 purchase of Kindergarten touch-screen Chromebooks, Grades 1, 10, 11, and 12 replacement Chromebooks, and elementary lease replacement computers.
