Batavia Athletic Boosters to Fund New Football Scoreboard at Bulldog Stadium

This fall, fans attending games at Bulldog Stadium will notice an exciting upgrade: a brand-new scoreboard will be installed, thanks entirely to the generosity of the Batavia Athletic Boosters.

The scoreboard, which replaces aging equipment that has served the district for many years, is being fully funded and installed through a donation from the Athletic Boosters. The Board of Education accepted the donation during its meeting last night.

The Batavia Athletic Boosters is a volunteer-run nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting Batavia High School and Rotolo Middle School athletic programs. Their donation reflects their ongoing commitment to enhancing the experience for student-athletes and spectators, as well as their strong partnership with Batavia Public School District 101.

“We’re proud to support this project as part of our mission to enhance the athletic experience for Batavia students and the broader community,” said Mike Morman, President of the Batavia Athletic Boosters. “The new scoreboard is a visible symbol of what we can accomplish together when we rally around our kids.”

“This is an incredibly generous gift that directly benefits our student-athletes, coaches, and fans,” said Dave Andrews, Batavia High School Athletic Director. “We’re thankful for the Boosters’ partnership and commitment to making our programs the best they can be.”

District 101 is committed to transparency and responsible stewardship of public funds. We are proud to partner with community organizations like the Batavia Athletic Boosters, whose contributions help ensure a high-quality student experience while protecting our general operating budget.

The installation of the new scoreboard is scheduled to be completed before the start of the fall sports season.
