Batavia Interschool Council

The Batavia Interschool Council (BIC) consists of representatives from the various Batavia parent organizations, and the purpose of the group is to facilitate communication between parents, teachers, administration and the Board of Education. The group meets quarterly and includes representatives from the parent organizations, administration, and the Board of Education. Each meeting focuses on information sharing from the District to the representatives who are asked to share the information with their organization. The representatives also provide input and feedback on a variety of topics. Time is set aside at each meeting for the organizations to highlight their projects, share ideas, and coordinate events.
