Remote Learning for PreK-K
Our early learners will continue to receive daily work suggestions. Work suggestions will be sent on Mondays at 9:00 am for the entire week. Since the level of independence is variable, parents, guardians, grandparents, or child care have broad discretion for the time of engaging in remote learning.
Your child’s teacher will generally be available for support from 9:30am to 10:30am each day and may schedule some synchronous, optional learning opportunities for their classes.
Students with special/related services or interventions will be contacted by their case manager or service provider about this service schedule.
While the specifics of the schedule will be communicated by your child’s teacher(s), the general guidelines for each level are included below:
General targets for time spent on remote learning are 20-30 minutes for PreK & Kindergarten, 1 hour for elementary, 30 minutes per class for middle and high school. Please realize that each student processes the work differently so times may vary for your child.
