BPS101 Rolls Out First Phase of Website Redesign
BPS101 has launched the first phase of a major website redesign, aimed at making information more accessible, easier to navigate, and better aligned with modern standards. The redesign, developed in partnership with creative firm Rule29, reflects the district’s commitment to ensuring families and staff can quickly access the information they need.
What’s New
-
Accessibility Compliance – The new site aligns with ADA single A and AA standards, with tools in place to maintain ongoing compliance.
-
Mobile Responsive – The design adapts seamlessly to smartphones, tablets, and desktops.
-
Built-In Translation – Native translation functions allow users to view content in multiple languages without third-party tools.
-
Content Updates – Outdated pages have been removed, and menus have been streamlined to simplify navigation.
A Work in Progress
This launch is just the beginning. Additional refinements—such as refreshed visuals, improved content organization, and expanded features—are currently underway as part of Phase II. Feedback from staff, families, and the community will continue to shape how the site evolves.
“Updating our website was about more than a new look,” said Holly Deitchman, Director of Communications. “It was about making sure our families, staff, and community members can easily find the information they need, in a format that works for them.”
The updated site is now live at bps101.net, with further enhancements to follow.
