Parent Accompaniment for Football Games
Dear BPS101 Families,
We hope this message finds you well. We wanted to take a moment to address an important matter regarding the behavior of students during last week’s football game.
First and foremost, we want to express our gratitude for your ongoing support of our school’s extracurricular activities. Seeing the community come together to cheer on our students and foster a positive environment is wonderful.
However, we regret to inform you that we encountered some behavioral issues among the student attendees during last Friday’s football game. As much as we value the freedom and independence of our students, their safety, and the overall reputation of our school, remain our utmost priorities.
In light of these events, we want to remind you that a parent or guardian must accompany all elementary and middle school students attending football games. Supervisors at the main entrance will monitor the students entering the games. This measure is intended to ensure the safety and well-being of our students, as well as to promote a respectful and enjoyable atmosphere for everyone in attendance.
Additionally, we are extremely short-staffed and will have limited ticket sellers at Friday’s game. Anyone attending the game should buy tickets in advance to avoid a long wait. Tickets can be purchased through the GoFan link. https://gofan.co/event/1085521?schoolId=IL15417
We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in this matter. By working together, we can maintain the camaraderie, sportsmanship, and pride that defines our school community. If you have any concerns or questions, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us.
Thank you for being an integral part of our school community and for your continued support in creating a safe and enjoyable environment for our students.
Be well,
BPS101
