Annual Bluestem Award Winners 2026
The Olympics are over, but the medal ceremonies roll on!
Fourth and fifth grade students at HC Storm Elementary celebrated a reading feat that began at the start of the school year. Each year, LRC directors from around the district create quizzes from a statewide list of 20 books and present a reading challenge to students in these grade levels.
Over 53 students completed the challenge by finishing at least eight books and quizzes, while 18 students were presented with medals for finishing all 20 books! Staff treated these students to an after-school celebration with food, giveaways, and games.
