State Superintendent Visits Rotolo Middle School
Rotolo Middle School had a special visitor this morning as Illinois State Superintendent of Education, Dr. Tony Sanders, toured the school. Dr. Sanders spent time in three classrooms, engaging with students and teachers in 6th grade math, 7th grade science, and the Peer Leadership program.
He was welcomed by Rotolo Middle School Principal Tara Piatek, Batavia Public School District 101 Superintendent Tom Kim, and District Community Outreach Coordinator Amy Nelson.
“We were honored to showcase the incredible learning happening in our classrooms,” said Principal Piatek. “Our staff was excited to show off all of our students’ hard work with Dr. Sanders.”
The visit highlighted the strong teaching and learning taking place across the district, as well as BPS101’s commitment to preparing students for success.
