At the regular Board of Education meeting on Tuesday, June 26, the Board of Education approved the Tim McDermott as the principal of H.C. Storm School.

Tim McDermott and his wife, Jenna, grew up in Illinois and currently reside in Oswego with their two daughters.  He received his Bachelor Arts in Education from Arizona State University.  He taught for three years in Tempe, Arizona.  Tim returned to Illinois where he was a 4th grade teacher and later became the Interventionist at Gwendolyn Brooks Elementary School in Indian Prairie School District #204. During his tenure as a teacher Tim received his Master of Arts in Teaching and Learning from Nova Southeastern University and his English as a Second Language endorsement from National Louis University.  While in the role of Interventionist at Brooks, Tim earned his Master of Arts in School Leadership from Concordia University.  He is currently the Student Services Coordinator at Gombert Elementary School in Indian Prairie School District #204.
