We want to know your thoughts about anything from calendar to programming in the district. ie: communication, assessment, report cards, homework, gifted, special education, early childhood, health and science programs, financial decisions, etc.
The Board of Education will hold its second Listening Post on January 10, 2012 at Louise White Elementary School from 7:00-8:30 p.m. The “listening post” is designed to gather public input on priorities, challenges, and financial priorities from the public.
There will be three general questions. Staff, parents and students are encouraged to attend and stand and share their input. Participants may also write their input on “post it notes” and place them on the easels with the same topic title.
Listening Post is not a Q and A period, rather, a time for the public to share challenges, evidence of quality and how you receive information. If you have specific questions, please contact the Superintendent’s office (630-937-8834) to schedule an appointment to get answers to specific questions.
Three general questions:
- What are the greatest challenges or issues this school district has to address over the next five years in order to provide a quality education for all students
- What evidence do you use to evaluate the quality of education in our schools
- How do you receive information about Batavia Public School District 101
Please attend. Our schools are stronger with public input.
HWS PTO will also be sharing what they have accomplished as a PTO.
