The Teaching and Learning Division provides the curricular leadership for district schools by facilitating the:
  • Development and maintenance of the desired learner outcomes in all learning areas.
  • Selection of instructional materials that align with the learner outcomes.
  • Selection and development of assessments to evaluate student achievement on the learner outcomes.
  • Implementation of professional growth opportunities for staff that reflect current best practice.
  • Design and implementation of supplemental programs: English Language Learners, Challenge, We Help Enrich Early Literacy (WHEEL), and Early Reading Intervention.
