Special Education Programs

Self-Contained Classroom:
A specialized class for students with disabilities whose educational needs cannot be met in the general education classroom.

Walk-In Speech Services:
Preschool children who are eligible, receive these services at the Early Childhood Center (ECC). Speech and language services are provided to students (K-12) who attend private schools within the district boundaries at their home schools.

Inclusion:
Students with special needs are educated in general education classroom for the majority of the day with special education supports. Students may receive services outside of the classroom if more individualized instruction is required.

Vocational Education:
This program offers small structured settings with a focus on functional academics and life skills, functional living skills, vocational training, and social and pragmatic language skills.
