BPS Team Member Roles

Special Education Teacher: teacher is specially trained to provide instruction and educational supports to children with disabilities

Occupational Therapist: supports students in the educational environment who have fine motor and/or sensory impairments

Physical Therapist: supports students in the educational environment who have gross motor impairments

School Psychologist: Is a member of the educational team by providing evaluation, intervention, prevention, and consultation services

Social Worker: work with students, families, teachers, and staff to ensure that students reach their academic potential and assist students in dealing with stress or emotional problems in the educational environment

General EducationTeacher: instructs and supports the student with disabilities in the general education classroom
