Dr. Lisa Hichens and her husband, Matt, currently reside in Naperville with their two children, Emma and Owen. Lisa will graduate in May with a Doctorate in Education from Aurora University. Her Master’s degree in Educational Leadership is from Northern Illinois University, and she received a Bachelor of Science degree in the Teaching of Mathematics from the University of Illinois. She began teaching high school mathematics in 1990 and was hired to teach at Batavia High School in 1994. Since then, she has served as the Dean of Students and for the past four years as the Assistant Principal for Teaching and Learning at BHS. She is thrilled to have been given the opportunity to continue to serve the BHS community in this new position.
